Néogravure Kees van Dongen for the Gallimard edition of Marcel Proust’s A la recherche du temps perdu

These illustrations were printed by E. Desfosses-Néogravure in Paris. The production was part of a luxurious 3-volume set with paper, known as vélin Téka, and featured bindings by Paul Bonet. 

These illustrations were created specifically for this limited (8750 ex.) 1947 edition and are considered some of van Dongen's most significant illustrative work
